To continue along with vineyard venues, I thought I would post this beautiful wedding shared by one of our contributors, Geneve Hoffman.

Flag Hill is in the seacoast region of New Hampshire, just a short drive North of Boston. With over 20 acres of rambling vines and incredible vistas, this vineyard is perfect for weddings. Flag Hill Winery also offers a tented reception site, ceremony locations and on site catering.

There is even a distillery on the property. Think of all those signature cocktails!

New York Vineyard Wedding Venue, Pellegrini Vineyards

Nestled in between New York City and Orient Point, heading out to the stretch of Long Island known as the North Fork is an incredible wedding venue. Row and row of vineyard grapes along with the oak barrels, wine corks and the blank slate of tent can set the stage for a spectacular dream wedding.

Pellegrini Vineyards is available for weddings on Saturdays from June through September for up to 150 guests. There is a minimum purchase for wine {of course! You are at a vineyard!} and the site fee does not include any rentals. You are provided with a recommended list of professionals, but you are free to select vendors of your choice – bonus!

East Coast Vineyard Weddings

Napa and Sonoma are not the only regions in the country hosting vineyard weddings. We do have major differences on the East Coast to contend with {um, the weather for one}, but you can find several drink worthy sites to hold your reception.

The East End of Long Island, Rhode Island, Vermont and yes, New Hampshire all have vineyards hoping you will book your event under their roof or near their vines. Long Island wines are gaining popularity and of course having lived there, I have sampled many. Knowing the quality of wine of the vineyards you are considering is very important. Most wineries will only allow you to serve their wines for your reception. But take heed – some of these locations will let you customize bottle labels {think table numbers / names or favors for your guests}.

East End of Long Island {Part III, North Fork Weddings}

With so much attention spent on weddings Hampton style, we thought we would continue along the path of East End weddings and share a road less traveled – the North Fork of Long Island. Vineyards, Farms and charming Inns are scattered throughout this beautiful landscape. You also have the option to rent a private home, which comes with the detailed logistical planning mentioned in our earlier post.

A few of our favorite wedding locations on the North Fork include the Hallockville Museum and Farm, Driftwood Farms in Orient {a privet farm with a gorgeous facility to rent}, Peconic Bay Winery, Bedell Cellars, Martha Clara, Paumanok Vineyards and one of my favorites, the Old field Vineyards.

There are many options for receptions, but with the lack of large hotels, guest rooms should be booked well in advance in order to make sure you have adequate rooms for your friends and family.
