East End of Long Island {Part III, North Fork Weddings}

With so much attention spent on weddings Hampton style, we thought we would continue along the path of East End weddings and share a road less traveled – the North Fork of Long Island.  Vineyards, Farms and charming Inns are scattered throughout this beautiful landscape. You also have the option to rent a private home, which comes with the detailed logistical planning mentioned in our earlier post.

A few of our favorite wedding locations on the North Fork include the Hallockville Museum and Farm, Driftwood Farms in Orient {a privet farm with a gorgeous facility to rent}, Peconic Bay Winery, Bedell Cellars, Martha Clara, Paumanok Vineyards and one of my favorites, the Old field Vineyards.

There are many options for receptions, but with the lack of  large hotels, guest rooms should be booked well in advance in order to make sure you have adequate rooms for your friends and family.
