A Classic Vermont Wedding Venue, Murphy Farm at the Quechee Club

The Club house wedding – everyone knows the standard wedding, with entree choices – set in a ballroom. But not so fast. When considering private clubs for your wedding venue, think about the Quechee Club. Not only is the private facility located in one of the most charming villages in Vermont {and close to Woodstock!} the site options here include an adorable little farmhouse, set on a lake  – with all the comforts of the club!

I had the pleasure of working an event here a few summers ago. The staff is very accommodating and eager to please. The farmhouse itself has a few rooms for staging and a small kitchen for their staff prep. You are required to rent all tents and equipment. Guest capacity is limited to the size tent you wish to rent {200 is comfortable}.  Ceremony options are available too, as well as great photo opportunities on the golf course.
