When I first saw a photo of this property I was intrigued and could not wait until my first visit.  Then, when I  turned down the long (understated) driveway, the anticipation was so great, I thought for sure I would feel a sense of disappointment when I arrived at the Lodge. Not so. Not even close. My jaw dropped. This Lodge is truly in the center of the Adirondacks and is everything it claims to be and much more.

You will not find overly stuffed beds, spa amenities in every corner of the bath nor flat screen television sets. In fact, you will not find a single television set in any of the rooms. There is no bar, no bistro, no comforts of the modern age. This is camp! But what a wonderful camp.

Private events are at the managers discretion and can be held outside under a tent in front of the Lodge. From experience, I would say 100 guests would be the maximum capacity. The Lodge is seasonal, so you need to wed in the summer months and you might want to consider a budget large enough to lay a floor in the tent. Guest rooms can easily accommodate 40 ish people in cabins and lodge rooms. Other accommodations are roughly twenty to thirty minutes away.
