The many words that come to mind while trying to write about Stowe Mountain Lodge escape my fingers as I type. I find myself relinquishing to the pleasant memories of dining in Solstice, giving way to pure relaxation in the spa (yes, I was able to finally let it all go!) and being truly amazed at the level of service, I had yet to experience on the East Coast. I have lived in posh areas, ate at the best in New York City, Boston, The Hamptons, etc. but I was truly impressed while staying at and working with the staff of Stowe Mountain Lodge.

If you are engaged, consider yourself a “foodie”, enjoy fine wines, love to indulge in pampering yourself and are in search of an above ground ballroom with a clean design scheme, views and windows – look no further! The Lodge is available year round for weddings and events with a capacity for up to 200+ guests. Pricing for their wedding package – food and wine, event space included, is fair for a luxury resort, especially when you consider the food is all sourced through local farms to the greatest extend possible. Early summer 2010 event space is tight and fall weddings are already booking. Call and schedule a site tour, enjoy a pint in the Hour Glass Lounge and ponder about all of the compliments your guests will give you after spending a weekend at this highly coveted resort.
